Thankful Thoughts........As so much has been going on this fall it reminds me of how thankful and grateful I am for friends, family, and freedom of religion! How lucky we are to be able to practice the religion of our choice! I was so emotional during Conference this weekend and I am not quite sure why, but everything seemed to touch me more than usual! I really felt like a lot of our leaders were trying to convey to us the importance of family! Michael and I are so blessed to have all of our family so close! We had 40-50 people that came to celebrate Presli's birthday (pics to come) with us on Saturday and we are so grateful to all of you for your help and support! I was so glad when President Monson spoke about not wasting today, waiting for tomorrow! Enjoy every moment....today! I am so thankful that we have a living Prophet on the Earth today to lead and direct us, through this imperfect life! What wise counsel to live for today! So many times we are so busy getting ready for tomorrow or the next big event that we just let today pass us by, I know that I am for sure guilty of this and so hopefully I can follow the Prophets counsel!
So one of my friends did this as a journal and I thought it was such a wonderful idea! Every Sunday I want to start the day with writing about what I am thankful for.....hence "Thankful Thoughts". I know that today is Monday but we had a rather busy day yesterday so today is the Thankful Thoughts day this week!
